The Buckeye butterflies were playing on the wild ageratum in the Big Branch Wildlife Preserve over the weekend.

I adore your photos! Almost more than I enjoy your blogs, LOL. It's a pleasure to have this to look forward to. Oh, and if you didn't send the email out with this link, I would never find my way here. It's hell to get old... Thanks. Oh, and the butterfly at the bottom is not a Monarch. Might be a Viceroy, but definitely not Monarch.

I am never completely sure of butterflies. It was pretty, so I took a pic. I guess I should not try to name them, just enjoy them. You know, you could subscribe the blog if you like by putting your email address where it says 'subscribe'. You would then get a note in your email with a link to get here. Thanks for the butterfly info.
