The mdansby saga continues

Yesterday I made a formal complaint to FBI internet fraud
about mdansby.com. My complaint to them follows. Isn't it awful to have to spend time fighting crooks when spring is here and the garden is wonderful?

In mid February, I downloaded a demo copy of psychreport.com a mental health practice management software application. On March 9th, I paid $199.00 for an official copy. I found out at that time that I needed to pay an extra 150.00 to 'customize' the program for my needs. Paypal transactions follow:

Mar. 9, 2009 Payment To Mdansby.com Completed Details -$150.00 USD $0.00 USD -$150.00 USD
Mar. 9, 2009 Payment To Mdansby.com Completed Details -$199.00 USD $0.00 USD
-$199.00 USD
I never received the 'customized' copy, have not been able to contact them after dozens of attempts, by phone or email. I have not received a refund.
I want my money back.

If any of my readers is having problems with this company, please register a complain with the BBB of NYC and with the FBI internet fraud department.

Thank you for the BBB email. I will lodge my complaint along with you. My main complaint is that I can only charge a transaction all to the client or all to the insurance company. You can not split a transaction to account for a clients copay and if you enter two charges to split it representing the copay and the insurance portion it is insurance fraud because the insurance company does must receive the entire charge. I tried to ask for this modification for free or my money back- they would only respond via their support portal in which they want to take over your computer on which there is now confidential client information. They refused to acknowledge that any practitioner accepting insurance would need this feature. They also refused to respond to my request for the modification for free or my money back even though their policy is a 30 day money back guarantee and the request was made within this time frame. I appreciate you posts on this issue. Thank you.

I bought a copy of the Landlord Report in 2007. I needed to reload it on my new computer and transfer my info and it won't let me. Mdansby support wants $150.00 to update the contract before they will help me. I am in Michigan and I am going to contact the bbb here. Thanks for your blog.

Contact the BBB in NY state where Dansby is. They have my complaint, as yet unresolved and have refused to answer any other complaint. Michigan BBB cannot help you. NY can send them forms to fill out, but has no clout either, but at least it makes them take the time to fill out the forms. I try to make life as miserable as I can for them.
